Scoutmaster Minutes are golden opportunities for one of the adult leaders to address the troop and leave them with something to think about. It is usually a short story with a moral, a quote, or a thought. Wise scoutmasters will present them following a troop meeting, campfire gathering, or campout, to help scouts understand and internalize the moral aspects of scouting. And remember, it should be as close to a minute in length as possible. Any longer and you should call it a lesson.
